The Trust Tairāwhiti Eastland Rescue Helicopter was again called to a medical event on the East Coast, this time to Ruatoria. Once on-scene our on-board critical care flight paramedic assessed and treated the patient, who was flown in a stable condition to Gisborne Hospital.

The Trust Tairāwhiti Eastland Rescue Helicopter responded to a personal locator beacon activation at Tokomaru Bay. The team stood-down after the source of the activation was identified.
After a Trust Tairāwhiti Eastland Rescue Helicopter flight to Waipiro Bay early on Saturday afternoon, the patient suffering a medical event was flown in a stable condition to Whakatane Hospital. The team rounded off the weekend with two Sunday missions to Tikitiki. One was again in the early afternoon, with the patient suffering a medical event flown in a stable condition to Gisborne Hospital. The other was at 9.30pm that night and involved two patients, both suffering medical events, and both flown in stable conditions to Gisborne Hospital.
