It was an early start for the Trust Tairāwhiti Eastland Rescue Helicopter, which was called to Te Araroa for a medical event. After our on-board Critical Care Flight Paramedic assessed and treated the patient, they were flown in a stable condition to Gisborne Hospital.
The Trust Tairāwhiti Eastland Rescue Helicopter was recalled to the Coast, this time to Ruatoria, for another medical event. Our on-board Critical Care Flight Paramedic assessed and treated the patient who was flown in a stable condition to Gisborne Hospital.
The Trust Tairāwhiti Eastland Rescue Helicopter responded to Te Araroa for a medical event, the on-board Critical Care Flight Paramedic assessing and treating the patient before they were flown in a serious condition to Gisborne Hospital.
The Trust Tairāwhiti Eastland Rescue Helicopter travelled to Tokomaru Bay to pick up a patient who was due at an appointment in Gisborne. After our on-board Critical Care Flight Paramedic assessed the patient, they were flown in a stable condition to Gisborne Hospital, and returned home just after midday.
Soon after the morning mission Trust Tairāwhiti Eastland Rescue Helicopter was recalled to the East Coast, to Ruatoria, for a medical event. Our on-board Critical Care Flight Paramedic assessed and treated the patient, who was flown in a stable condition to Gisborne Hospital.
The Trust Tairāwhiti Eastland Rescue Helicopter received another call-out to the East Coast, this time to Tokomaru Bay, for a medical event. And again our on-board Critical Care Flight Paramedic assessed and treated the patient, who was flown in a stable condition to Gisborne Hospital.
The Trust Tairāwhiti Eastland Rescue Helicopter was called to a trauma at Ruatoria, where St John had transported the patient to Whakarua Park to give us a safe landing. After our on-board Critical Care Flight Paramedic assessed and treated the patient, they were flown in a stable condition to Gisborne Hospital.
Later that evening, the Trust Tairāwhiti Eastland Rescue Helicopter responded to a trauma in Hicks Bay, where St John had taken the patient to Hicks Bay School. Our on-board Critical Care Flight Paramedic assessed and treated the patient, who was flown to Gisborne Hospital in a stable condition.
In the late afternoon, on Sunday, Trust Tairāwhiti Eastland Rescue Helicopter was called to a trauma at Te Whare Hauora o Ngati Porou/Te Puia Springs Hospital. Our on-board Critical Care Flight Paramedic assessed and treated the patient, who was flown to Gisborne Hospital in a stable condition.
Though initially called to a job in the Waioeka Gorge, the Trust Tairāwhiti Eastland Rescue Helicopter was rerouted to Tikitiki for a motor vehicle accident. St John and Fire & Emergency NZ were on scene with NZ Police to hand care over to our on-board Critical Care Flight Paramedic, who assessed and treated the patient before they were flown in a stable condition to Gisborne Hospital.
