The Trust Tairāwhiti Eastland Rescue Helicopter responded to Bartletts, in the Wharerata Ranges, where multiple people had been involved in a motor vehicle accident. Our on-board critical care flight paramedic assessed and treated our patients, flying two of them to Gisborne Hospital. Thanks to the members of the public who were first on-scene, controlling traffic and looking after patients.
After the team was called to an incident at Mahia, our on-board critical care flight paramedic assessed the patient, who did not need to be transported.

The Trust Tairāwhiti Eastland Rescue Helicopter was called to Kaiti Beach to help in the search for five paddlers who were in the water after their waka overturned. The team stood-down after the paddlers made it to different parts of the shore.
