The Trust Tairāwhiti Eastland Rescue Helicopter responded to a medical event at Whakaki — between Wairoa and Nuhaka – where our on-board critical care flight paramedic assessed and treated the patient, who was flown in a critical condition to Gisborne Hospital. Thanks to Wairoa St John’s crew for stabilising the patient.
