The Trust Tairāwhiti Eastland Rescue Helicopter responded to Whirinaki Forest Park when a PLB was activated for a medical event. Once on scene, our on-board critical care flight paramedic assessed and treated the patient and walked them out of the bush to a nearby road for transport.
