After the previous week’s hectic workload of a dozen completed missions the Trust Tairāwhiti Eastland Rescue Helicopter team had a reprieve from their usual busy schedule with just four completed missions recorded for the week from Monday, February 19. On that day the team was called to a medical event in Wairoa (pictured), the week continuing with responses to a trauma at Tokomaru Bay and a medical event at Te Puia Springs – both on February 20 – and to a medical event at Tolaga Bay (February 23).
