Upon their return from Waikato the Trust Tairāwhiti Eastland Rescue Helicopter hot refueled and headed to Tikitiki in response a medical event. Once on scene our on-board critical care flight paramedic assessed and treated the patient, who was flown in a serious condition to Gisborne Hospital.
