The Trust Tairāwhiti Eastland Rescue Helicopter responded to Te Whare Hauora o Ngati Porou/Te Puia Springs Hospital for a medical event. Our Critical Care Flight Paramedic assessed and treated the patient, who was flown in a stable condition to Gisborne Hospital.

The Trust Tairāwhiti Eastland Rescue Helicopter was called to Waihau Bay for a medical event. Our onboard Critical Care Flight Paramedic assessed and treated the patient, who was flown in a stable condition to Tauranga Hospital. Both St John’s and Waihau Bay Fire Service on scene to assist.

The Trust Tairāwhiti Eastland Rescue Helicopter was directed by the Rescue Co-ordination Centre to Te Urewera National Park in response to a Personal Locator Beacon activation. Our onboard Critical Care Flight Paramedic assessed and treated the patient, who the crew then took in a stable condition back to their vehicle.

Called to Te Araroa for a medical event, low cloud meant the Trust Tairāwhiti Eastland Rescue Helicopter crew needed to land in Tikitiki and wait for St John Ambulance to drive the patient to meet them. The patient was then flown to Whakatane Hospital in a stable condition.

The Trust Tairāwhiti Eastland Rescue Helicopter crew was called to assist police searching for a vehicle in distress inland from Tolaga Bay. After an hour of searching we were stood down and returned to base.

Once the crew had cleared from Whakatane, they immediately responded to Waiotahe for a motor vehcile accident. Our Critical Care Flight Paramedic assessed and treated the patient, who was flown to Waikato Hospital in a stable condition.

The Trust Tairāwhiti Eastland Rescue Helicopter was dispatched to Te Araroa for a medical event. Our Critical Care Flight Paramedic assessed and treated the patient, who was flown to Whakatane Hospital in a stable condition.

Our crew responded to a medical event in Te Araroa, where we received handover from St John Ambulance. Our Critical Care Flight Paramedic stabilised the patient, who was flown to Gisborne Hospital in a serious condition.

The Trust Tairāwhiti Eastland Rescue Helicopter was dispatched by the Rescue Co-ordination Centre to a beacon activation in Tiniroto. Our crew located a patient who had suffered traumatic injuries falling from a horse. They were stabilised by our Critical Care Flight Paramedic and transported to Gisborne Hospital.

The Trust Tairāwhiti Eastland Rescue Helicopter crew returned to Tokomaru Bay to a patient suffering a medical event. Our Critical Care Flight Paramedic stabilised the patient and flew them to Gisborne Hospital.

The Trust Tairāwhiti Eastland Rescue Helicopter was dispatched to Tokomaru Bay to medivac a medical patient from the isolated community. Our Critical Care Flight Paramedic assessed and treated the patient, who was flown to Gisborne Hospital for further treatment.

The Trust Tairāwhiti Eastland Rescue Helicopter was dispatched to Ruatoria for a medical. The patient was assessed and treated by our Critical Care Flight Paramedic and transported to Te Whatu Ora Tairāwhiti/Gisborne Hospital in a stable condition.

The Trust Tairāwhiti Eastland Rescue Helicopter was called for a trauma to Tikitiki, where St John Ambulance staff handed over the patient who was flown to Gisborne Hospital for further treatment.

Dispatched to Ruatoria for a medical event, the crew were met by the local Ruatoria St John Ambulance team. The patient was assessed and treated by our Critical Care Flight Paramedic and flown to Gisborne Hospital for further treatment.

As they were heading back to Gisborne, the crew was dispatched by Police to look for a potential boat in distress off the coast of Te Kaha. After some searching, nothing was found and they were stood down and returned to Gisborne.

The Trust Tairāwhiti Eastland Rescue Helicopter responded to a trauma in Te Araroa, where the crew were met by St John first responder staff. The patient was stabilised by our Critical Care Flight Paramedic and needed to be transported to Waikato Hospital. Our crew went to Whakatane to meet the Aerocool Tauranga Rescue helicopter crew, who flew the patient on to Waikato in a critical condition. This enabled the Tairāwhiti team to get back to the East Coast ready for the next mission.
