The Trust Tairāwhiti Eastland Rescue Helicopter had not event landed before the next call came in, this time to a medical event in Ruatoria. Our on-board critical care flight paramedic assessed and treated the patient, who was flown in a serious condition to Gisborne Hospital.

The Trust Tairāwhiti Eastland Rescue Helicopter responded to a personal locator beacon activation in Te Araroa, where our on-board critical care flight paramedic assessed the patient. Thanks for the efforts of NZ Police and whanau. It’s always great to see our patients safely home.

The Trust Tairāwhiti Eastland Rescue Helicopter was called to a medical event in Te Kaha, where our on-board critical care flight paramedic assessed and treated the patient who was flown in a stable condition to Whakatane Hospital.

The Trust Tairāwhiti Eastland Rescue Helicopter again flew up the Coast, for a medical event at Te Puia Springs Hospital. Our onboard critical care flight paramedic assessed and treated the patient before the crew brought them in a stable condition to Gisborne Hospital.

The Trust Tairāwhiti Eastland Rescue Helicopter was called to a medical event in Tolaga Bay, where our on-board critical care flight paramedic assessed and treated the patient who was flown in a stable condition to Gisborne Hospital. Thanks to FENZ and St John’s who were on scene to assist.

The Trust Tairāwhiti Eastland Rescue Helicopter responded to Bartletts, in the Wharerata Ranges, where multiple people had been involved in a motor vehicle accident. Our on-board critical care flight paramedic assessed and treated our patients, flying two of them to Gisborne Hospital. Thanks to the members of the public who were first on-scene, controlling traffic and looking after patients.

After the team was called to an incident at Mahia, our on-board critical care flight paramedic assessed the patient, who did not need to be transported.

The Trust Tairāwhiti Eastland Rescue Helicopter was called to Kaiti Beach to help in the search for five paddlers who were in the water after their waka overturned. The team stood-down after the paddlers made it to different parts of the shore.

The Trust Tairāwhiti Eastland Rescue Helicopter was again called to the East Coast, this time to a medical event in Hicks Bay where our on-board critical care flight paramedic assessed and treated the patient before they were flown in a stable condition to Gisborne Hospital. Thanks again to the local emergency services for their support.
