Governed by the Eastland Rescue Helicopter Trust Board, the service was established in 1988.
We are a not-for-profit, charitable organisation whose primary aim is to deliver lifesaving critical care to patients on our remote East Coast. We work hard to raise the money needed to keep the essential rescue service on 24/7 standby.
The organisation is volunteer led.
We also have two pilots, two professional aviation crewman and two ICP paramedics both with RSI endorsement. They are all paid.
