Busy Christmas for Chopper Crew

Sadly, we've had to attend a few missions over the Christmas break.

On Boxing Day at 9:30am, we flew to a rural property on Fernside Road and attended to a 30-year-old female who had fallen from a motorbike. St John Intensive care paramedics treated the woman at the scene before flying her to Gisborne Hospital.

Then yesterday afternoon at 14:00, we flew just south of Tolaga Bay to assist with a drowning. Our deepest sympathies are with the family.

It's that time of year when we have time to get out and about, and enjoy all this great region has to offer. Like you, we love getting amongst it - just remember to take care of yourselves and each other.
